N. Kali Mincy is a former English and Writing instructor for Columbia College and Public Relations Manager for Long & Silverman Publishing Company where she served as Senior Editor until 2006. As a presenter and coach, she has been praised for her ability to distill complex publishing concepts into practical, easy-to-understand steps. Many professionals in her field have commended her for the breadth of her knowledge and her ability to excite and motivate them.
Kali’s editing work includes national bestseller The Baron Son, a business and personal finance book featured on the Forbes Book Club Notable list, The Essentials of World Languages, and articles in Opportunity World and Money ‘N Profits magazines. She has over 30 writing credits including “Creative Writing: Teaching New Writers Character Development in Fiction,” “The Fiction-Writing Toolkit,“ and “Copyediting Essentials.”
Kali has been contracted by organizations and federal agencies such as the AFL-CIO, the Goodwill of Greater Washington, The Urban League, and the Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration.
